Electrical and Computer Engineering
From pervasive computing to smart power systems, a collaborative atmosphere and interdisciplinary efforts are hallmarks of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. Courses and research are offered in communications, computer engineering, computer networks, electromagnetics, electronics/circuits, energy systems, power systems, signals and systems, and wireless systems.
Our students come from government, private industry and other universities to work on their degrees on a part-time or full-time basis and participate in research programs in telecommunications, fiber optics, power systems, energy, environment, and bioinformatics. The following degrees are offered:
- M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (EE)
- M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Engineering (CpE)
- M.S. in Systems Engineering with EE/CpE Emphasis
