Director of Information Services
Justin Davenport
Serving as director of information technology for the National Capital Region, Justin Davenport is responsible for the operation and management of corporate-level Information Technology services across the region, the implementation of IT security best-practices, and IP-based video conferencing between Blacksburg and National Capital Region sites.
Prior to joining Virginia Tech in 2000, Davenport worked at The Weinberg Group, where he supported information technology throughout the company's international operations.
Davenport is an alumnus of Virginia Tech. In addition to holding an undergraduate degree from the university, he completed his Masters of Information Technology in 2005.
